First of all we would like to THANK YOU for the overwhelming response. Congratulations to the people who made it to the 2019 batch. With requests pouring in from across the state we are elated to announce that we are starting next batch for 2019 from August 28 , 2019.
Its needless to say that the Civil Services Examination conducted by the UPSC is one of the toughest examination not only in India but across the globe. It is tough not because the questions asked are difficult, it’s tough because the scope of syllabus is very vast and diverse.
Take the previous year’s UPSC GS question paper to any average educated Indian in their mid-fifties; they’ll be able to answer more questions than an average aspirant without any formal preparation.
Because they have experience, they have been observing and analysing things around them all their lives and UPSC asks very basic and general questions spanning different fields checking the analytical and correlating skills besides understanding.
If any normal person can solve UPSC paper then why do I need guidance?
Because the age limit for writing the exam is fixed and the early you get into the service, the better are your chances of reaching the top most position in the service. You cannot afford to acquire the knowledge required by experience and experimentation because you have limited time with you.
What type of guidance can I expect from IASBYHEART?
IASBYHEART is an initiative of alumni of Anna University which has produced more than 500 civil servants so far. The incomparable senior junior relationship and the responsibility of successful alumni towards their Alma mater is the reason for inception of IASByHeart. IASByHeart is not a business enterprise where you pay and study for some time and you are left on your own, it is a platform where our experienced alumni interact with you and guide you at each juncture of your journey towards your goal.

Who are the faculties/mentors?
From students who have cleared the exam with top ranks to eminent persons who are working in different positions in the government will be your mentors. They will take different subjects and empower you with their success mantra. You are here not only to acquire knowledge but to get your name in the merit list. Our mentors will exactly be enabling you to do that in your very first attempt as they know the kinds of problems you’d be facing and their solutions, since they themselves have been students until recently.
Will there be Test Series too?
A sportsman is just one match away from defeat if he does not practice rigorously in the nets. Similarly a candidate is just one exam away from failure if he doesn’t take enough mock tests. We ensure that you are at your toes by giving numerous practice tests matching the UPSC standards so that you are comfortable while appearing for the actual exam.
We will be preparing you for the prelims and mains simultaneously. Answer writing practice and tests will go hand in hand with the prelims tests every week.
I am a college student or a working professional. How can APM program help me?
Accelerated Prep Module (APM) ensures that you learn everything that UPSC expects you to know and nothing which is irrelevant and unrequired, within a short span of time. Not only does the program tells you what to study, but also how to study and cover the vast dreadful syllabus with ease and in a short span. Managing time and knowing how to study it is the key to success in this exam and we have designed this exclusively for working professionals and college students, who have limited time to prepare.
Is there any formal requirement for joining the APM program?
Yes. Desire to join the IAS training at LBSNAA in 2021 is the only requirement.
Are seats limited?
Yes. We strictly adhere to low student to faculty ratio to encourage maximum interaction and quality. Admissions will be done on ‘first come first serve’ basis till the vacancy is exhausted, we do not entertain reference/recommendations or give any preference to anyone. We are sure you don’t want to be late for the biggest dream to come true in your life. Our reputation of strong alumni is important to us as much as your success in the examination, so we strive hard to maintain that.
